PEORIA, Ariz. — The Mariners beat the White Sox by a score of 8–2 in today’s game at Peoria Stadium. Luis Castillo pitched 5.0 innings with 5 strikeouts the most for him this spring training.
The Mariners were the first to get on the board in the bottom of the first inning thanks an RBI-double to center field by Jorge Polanco to give Seattle an early lead.
