The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cam Heyward are in talks involving a contract extension, according to Alan Saunders of Steelers Now.
There has been a ton of speculation that 2024 could be Heyward’s swan song in the NFL and with the Steelers, but it appears that he plans to be around for a lot longer than anyone would have thought.
“We’ve talked about an extension,” Heyward said. “We’ll see what happens. My goal is to play two or three more years.”
Heyward also hinted that he could play elsewhere.
“We’ll see what happens.
