The OKC Thunder ran a marathon during the 2023 NBA Summer League; while most teams sprint to the finish line with a couple of weeks in Vegas, the Oklahoma City Thunder have spent the entire month playing basketball dating back to their July 3rd Summer League debut in Salt Lake City. It finally ends on Sunday, July 16th, in Vegas. Then, at least in a Thunder uniform, the Bricktown boys will be on the shelf until October. Some members of the Oklahoma City Thunder will be in action during August’s FIBA World Cup.
During the Vegas NBA 2k24 Summer League, the OKC Thunder finished with a 2-2 record in the “regular season,” which was not enough to crack the Summer League playoffs and only grants the Thunder this fifth and final game against the San Antonio Spurs.
