It was certainly a busy Monday around Mizzou Athletics filled with plenty of news — and none bigger than the reported hiring of Memphis’ Laird Veatch as the program’s next AD.
The news was first reported by Pete Thamel — though an official announcement hasn’t happened quite yet.
Missouri is targeting Memphis athletic director Laird Veatch to be the school’s next athletic director, sources told ESPN. Veatch has been at Memphis since Oct. of 2019 and brings SEC experience from his time at Florida from 2017-19, when he was an executive associate AD.
