The Houston Rockets were on the fast track to a fourth straight lottery appearance just two weeks ago, but after a 5-1 stretch across the last six games, Ime Udoka's squad enters Thursday just four games back of the Golden State Warriors for the final Western Conference play-in spot.
Houston isn't exactly afraid to acknowledge its wandering eye with regards to the West standings. Reserve guard Reggie Bullock confirmed as such Thursday morning.
"If you ain’t keeping an eye on [the standings], you shouldn’t be in this uniform."
Houston still believes it has a legitimate play-in chance despite having an uphill climb with just 17 games remaining.
