The green jacket Arnold Palmer won at the 1958 Masters Tournament was among the items allegedly stolen from Augusta National Golf Club between 2009 and 2022, according to cllct's Darren Rovell.
August National never reported the jacket missing, Rovell reported.
The jacket was claimed by the FBI with a seizure warrant in 2022 following its attempted sale for $3.6 million, according to Rovell.
The seizure happened after an Augusta National member attempted to buy the item "to return the jacket to Augusta," Rovell wrote.
A man was charged in federal court in Illinois on Wednesday regarding the transportation of "millions of dollars' worth" of Masters-related items from the Georgia golf club, according to the Associated Press.
