Roster moves
The Arizona Diamondbacks made the following roster moves. The D-backs’ 40-man roster is at 40.
- Reinstated from the 15-day injured list: RHP Paul Sewald (left oblique strain)
- After Sunday’s game optioned to Triple-A Reno: RHP Scott McGough
Definitely good to have Sewald back, and hopefully he can bring the same stabilizing influence to the Arizona bullpen, as he did after his arrival from Seattle last season. Interesting to see the team has apparently had enough of McGough: I’m guessing he accepted an assignment to Triple-A, though I don’t know the exact details of his contract.
